More than 10 countries are represented in the Roxby Downs Multicultural Group, reflecting the diversity of the mining town.
Sol Pizanez comes from Argentina.
She is one of the volunteer coordinators of the Multicultural Group.
"It is a group for new people in town," Sol said on Friday.
"It's a place where people can start feeling part of a community."
Every fortnight the group convenes for coffee at Dunes Café.
Every second week the group goes to the Council Boardroom on Thursday at 9am for an English conversation workshop.
Every other week the group runs a conversation group on a Friday before meeting socially at the café.
"We have people from 10 different countries represented in our group right now … and it is growing," Sol said.
Rebecca Nhamussua and her new baby share a name: Natalia.
Natalia Nhamussua and her two children Rebecca and Natalia are from Mozambique.
Rebecca is going to Roxby Downs Area School.
"I love it," she said.
"We enjoy and celebrate 59 different nationalities in Roxby Downs," said coordinator Tom Beever.
"It's an incredible resource for us all."
